Yes, we have written before about meditation and the BioMat. And it is such a great topic … especially during and after the coronavirus.

Before CoVid-19, we know many of our customers used the BioMat for meditation and absolutely loved it. Many use the Mini BioMat or the professional-size BioMat, along with the Amethyst and Tourmaline Pillow. While the size is not really the point, the benefits and effects of meditating on the mat is important. The synergistic triad of the BioMat’s elements (far infrared heat, amethyst/tourmaline and negative ions) amplifies the meditative experience. Honestly, we don’t think there is a better meditation tool!!

Further, there’s a definite benefit of laying down (on the pro-size BioMat) or sitting upright with a straight spine (using the Mini bio-mats). This allows your meditation to be deeper and perhaps bringing you even more insights and awarenesses. Getting “tapped in” is not only a wonderful feeling, but it is so helpful especially when we go through very challenging times like CoVid-19. When CoVid “hit” in mid-March and we had stay at home orders, this opened up a time and space for many people around the world to pause, take a breath and meditate. In the beginning of this time, it felt a bit strange to slow down and go inside ourselves to discern our priorities. Reviewing what’s next and maintaining our health became the new activities of every day and for those who meditated, meditation certainly helped give guidance and ideas.

There were many, many healers who provided meditations and healing sessions – on Facebook, Instagram, Zoom, etc. One of our personal favorites was Deva Premal. On March 17th, she and Miten began offering a daily Facebook live meditation from their stay-at-home spot in Costa Rica. They continued this for 77 days! As we sat on our Mini BioMat or laid on our pro-size BioMat with our head on the Pillow, these beautiful meditations and music became a lifeline through the uncertainty and change.
