BioMatInc.com is an authorized BioMat distributor. This blog post gives you information about purchasing BioMats on either eBay or Amazon.com or other e-commerce websites that are not “sanctioned” by Richway International (BioMat’s parent company). This distribution policy from Richway International went into effect as of March 15, 2013.

This is important to know! The BioMat’s parent company only sells BioMats via their network of qualified distributors who are authorized to sell this product line. All distributors must abide by Richway’s rules to continue to maintain active authorized distributorship status.

While Richway has developed the BioMat and manufactures it, they do not sell the product directly to the public. Authorized BioMat distributors are NOT allowed to advertise or sell discounted BioMat product on either Amazon.com, Craigslist or e-Bay.

If you purchase a BioMat on either of these websites/services, please be aware of the following:

• The product you are purchasing may a knock-off and not genuine.
• The product may be used and you do not have any way of determining wear and tear, functionality, condition when it arrives on your doorstep, etc.
• Bio-mats from these websites are not covered by the manufacturer’s repair or warranty service. (Since Richway provides a very generous warranty of three years and a repair statement extending up to thirty years, it makes good sense to secure a BioMat through the authorized distributor channel.)
• Richway also provides a lifetime trade-in offer and this option is NOT available unless the purchase is made through an authorized BioMat distributor. (It is not available for purchases made on eBay, Craigslist, Amazon, etc.)
• You will likely not receive customer service or support for any product(s) purchased through eBay and/or Amazon. Sellers on these sites tend to change their names frequently and do not generally provide their address, phone or email. You purchase and you are “on your own!”
• You must purchase from an authorized BioMat distributor in order to become an authorized distributor. Purchasing via Craigslist, e-Bay or Amazon, etc. does not qualify you to be a Richway BioMat distributor.
• Securing your purchase through a reputable BioMat distributor gives you product information, excellent customer service and access to warranties, the trade-in program, and additional information about becoming a distributor/affiliate.

These are some of the important things to consider before “getting a discount” on either Amazon and/or eBay. It’s the old adage, “You get what you pay for.” In this case, it is likely best to work through the proper authorized BioMat distributor channels. Richway expects its distributors to comply with all procedures and policies; they dismiss distributors who do not comply.
